Minimalism is the concept of the Giuliano Fujiwara Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, a line presented at Milan Fashion Week in equally minimal form. With a layered look and monochromatic color palette essential to the seasons look that also combines narrow fits with oversized styles completed with utilitarian pockets and tasseled dress shoes.

Prada 2011 FALL Collection

Italian fashion house Prada recently showcased their Fall 2011 collection. Judas Priest and Motorhead were amongst the chosen bands that provided a retro rock soundtrack to the runway show. Interestingly for a label that in general terms, actively avoids suede, much of the line-up was created from it. Indeed many bloggers have found the collection to be somewhat of a surprise, consisting mainly of 60’s/70’s style outfits worn by salesmen of the time. Wide cuts are accompanied by large bags along with a number of Prada’s typically rounded-silhouette shoes.
