Concept villas Dubrovnik, by Zaha Hadid Architects

Zaha Hadid Architects have designed two prototype villas for a site overlooking the historic town of Dubrovnik in Croatia.

The concepts, named “Rock” (top) and “Shell” (above), have been developed to help define the architectural style of the resort, which will eventually consist of 400 villas plus hotels and a golf course.

Tokujin Yoshioka x Kartell

Tokujin Yoshioka presents " invisible The ". An installation realized for Kartell during " Salone del Mobile 2010 " in Milan. Whiteness and transparency of the polycarbonate: the characteristic signature of a mark(brand) precursor, a tribute to all these designers who saw in this material a new support of creation: Starck, Lissoni, Laviani, Bellini, Urquiola, Yoshioka.

Obata Clinic by Hayato Komatsu Architects

Japanese architect Hayato Komatsu has completed the interiors for this clinic in Hiroshima, Japan, which is located within a shopping centre.

The interior walls and ceiling are clad in strips of wood with an array of fluorescent tube lights on the sloping planes.
